Admission requirements vary depending on bachelor or master programs and also from one institution to another.

Bachelor’s Degrees

Minimum eligibility to apply for Bachelor’s degree program:

  • +2 passed with good academic scores
  • 72 points in TOEFL iBT or 6 points in IELTS is the minimum requirements for English language proficiency test
  • Good SAT test score for Bachelor’s degree admission(optional)
  • Entrance Exam or Interview for Admission

Master’s Degrees

Minimum eligibility to apply for Master’s degree program:

  • Bachelor’s degree with good academic scores
  • 79 (with a minimum of 18 in Writing section) points in TOEFL iBT or 6.5(with a minimum of 5.5 per each section) points in IELTS or 62 ( with a minimum of 52 in Writing section)points in PTE
  • Good SAT test score for Master’s degree admission(Optional)
  • Good GRE/GMAT test score for Master’s admission (Optional)
  • Entrance Exam or Interview for Admission

Admission Sessions/Intakes

The Finnish higher educational institutes have different times for admission as listed below:

  • September- Autumn, you must apply via the official portal in January the same year. The exact date varies slightly from year to year.
  • January, you must apply in September the year before your start.
