South Korea, official called the Republic of Korea, is an Asian country located on the Korean peninsula. South Korea shares its only land border with North Korea. Located in its west, across the Yellow Sea, is China and Japan is located on its eastern side. South Korea has around 52 million population spread in a land area of 100,210 square kilometers.
